How much salt do I add for a 28l tank, I recently lost all my guppys to saddleback and had to restart my tank, my betta was only survivor, i currently have a betta, 4 mollies and 3 female guppies, just lost female guppy to fin rot even after treatment, will my fish adapt to the salt thanx

Actually, you must cycle a tank. Add water with the treatment, then let the tank's (with plants and gravel) filter and heater sit for 3-5 weeks.

Hello Maria,

Sorry for late reply. was on vacations :) .
City water treatment plants add chlorine to water. Tap water may contain chlorine in it. Keeping water for 2 -3 days take chlorine out. Alternately you can us dechlorintor available at pets supply store. Many people don't have enough storage space to store water for 2 days. they can definitely use dechlorinating medicines.
